Sometimes you meet a couple and you think to yourself, really, you are gunna marry THAT person? Of all the millions of options that's the one you are going to pick? And sometimes you meet two people that are so kind to each other in words, and gestures. You see them follow one another with their eyes, you can tell that they are listening to what is being said in the pause in-between the words and you know they are rock this marriage stuff. Well these two are rockstars. So, so sweet to each other. So, so kind and gentle and in love. I. can't. wait. Wedding day is coming so sooooooon!!!!
So they started off a little nervous. All three of us actually. I think that is normal when you are asking two people to be so vulnerable in front of a stranger with a camera. But GOLLY, by the end of the night we were on a roll, and I couldn't stop taking pictures of these two. Only the darkness could stop us! There were lots of silly, giggly moments and lots of sweet "I love you; I can't believe I have found my soulmate moments."
I can't say enough of the importance of engagement sessions. They not only help us get to know each other so we aren't strangers on the wedding day, but the session also allows us to get the awkwardness out of the way! By the day the wedding finally arrives, I will know how you dance, and you will know how I move as well. I will know what makes you smile and what makes you melt into each other. So so worth the time peoples.
I knew the second I met you that there was something about you I needed. Turns out it wasn't something about you at all. It was just you. - Jamie McGuire
Sometimes you just know!! That was so defiantly the case here!!!! I dragged these two all over the place in the cold for their engagement pictures. But can you tell? I think it was their love keeping them warm. Or me yelling over the waterfall, "you look cold, stop it!!!" But they trusted me and we braved the cold. Pretty sure their wedding is going to be amazing! Can't wait!
